Borrowing Guidelines
· Books — 21 days, 14 days if “new”, limit 25 if new. 5 automatic renewals unless requested by another patron. Please call if you need more renewals. Only 1 automatic renewal if “new”.
· Audiobooks/CDs — 21 days, 14 days if “new”, limit 10 total.

· Movies — 7 days, 3 days if “new” Limit 10 for 7-day, 5 for 3-day (15 total). 5 automatic renewals unless requested by another patron. Please call if you need more renewals. Only 1 automatic renewal if “new”.
Fees
· No overdue fees!
· Lost and damaged items billed at cost plus $2.50 per item billing fee.
· $10 fee per account if sent to collections.
· Borrowing suspended if there is an overdue item or if fees or other charges equal or exceed $10.
How To Get A Library Card
· Adult library cards -- Visit the library and fill out an application, show photo ID with a current address, or if ID is not current, photo ID and a something showing your name and current address.
· Juvenile library cards -- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to obtain a library card. Parent/Guardian will be required to show photo ID with a current address, or if ID is not current, photo ID and a something showing their name and current address. Child must be present to open an account.
- Parent or legal guardian is responsible for all items checked out on a minor's card. Parent or legal guardian agrees to abide by lending rules, policies, and regulations of the Wilmington Public Library of Clinton County.
- The responsibility for guiding the selection of materials for the minor falls to the parent or legal guardian and not the Wilmington Public Library of Clinton County.
