Summer Reading Programs for Adults

JUNE

“Knit Wits” – Sunday, June 2, 2:00 pm. Bring your project and join friends for the afternoon. This group is open to all project types; knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, latch hook, crochet, etc. All are welcome to attend, even beginners.

Euchre and Board Games – Thursday, June 6, 6:00 p.m.

Outdoor Tai Chi class – Saturday, June 8, 9:00 a.m. Taught by Robert Baylor, Main Street Yoga. Dress comfortably; meet inside if raining. Learn how to live in the moment with meditation and motion.

Daytime Book Club – Thursday, June 13, 1:00 p.m. “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens will be discussed. New members welcome.

Climate Change – Thursday, July 11, 6:30 p.m.

Presented by Dr. Russell Kincaid, Professor of Math and Physics at Wilmington College. Learn about current climate change issues and weather effects throughout the world.  Talk includes presentation of data regarding temperature and carbon dioxide levels.
