Clinton County Reads 2023 features The Sentence, the latest novel by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louise Erdrich.
Erdrich details the life of a small independent bookstore in Minneapolis that is haunted by a former annoying customer during a pivotal year for the store and the city. The library has multiple copies of the book available for checkout.
We invite everyone to read the 2023 Clinton County Reads selection and come together to participate in this year's event running from March 20 through April 20.
Local author and publisher John Baskin will kick off this year's event with a presentation on The Death of Reading at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 20, at Wilmington College's Watson Library. Full refreshments will be served beginning at 6 p.m. Baskin is the co-founder of Orange Frazer Press in Wilmington and is the author of a dozen books, including "New Burlington: The Life and Death of an American Village."
Clinton County Reads is sponsored by the Blanchester Public Library, Sabina Public Library, Wilmington Public Library, Watson Library at Wilmington College, and Books 'N More.
